The Police Department currently owns two Harley Davidson motorcycles that are used for patrol from April to November throughout the year. The motorcycle unit is also used in parades and as escorts for special events.

NEMLEC Motor Unit
Sgt. Cutter and Off. Andrukaitis are assigned to the NEMLEC motor unit. The NEMLEC motor unit is comprised of approximately 50 motor officers from Essex and Middlesex counties. The NEMLEC motor unit operates year-round and responds to emergencies as well as pre-planned events such as parades, escorts, and large events.
